Seminar Revision of Chapter 11 vs. Revision of the Dutch Bankruptcy Act

Monday, May 18, 2015,  3 PM – 5.30 PM

Doelenzaal, University library, Singel 425, Amsterdam

The American Chapter 11 reorganisation procedure is up for revision after having served the US economy for over 30 years. At the same time, the Netherlands and many other countries are looking at Chapter 11 as an example for revising their rules on reorganisation.

During this conference, the recent (December 2014) Report by the American Bankruptcy Institute on the reform of Chapter 11 will be discussed and compared with current proposals for revision of the Dutch Bankruptcy Act.
