NACIIL Conference '10 years of European Insolvency regulation'

This conference, organised by the Netherlands Association for Comparative and International Insolvency Law (NACIIL), takes place on thursday May 31, 2012, in Amsterdam. It is organised on the occasion of the 10th birthday of the EU Insolvency Regulation.

During the seminar (09.30 – 17.15) an overview will be given of the most significant court cases in Germany, France, the United Kingdom, Belgium, the Netherlands and the Court of Justice of the European Union. Speakers will look back to the EU Insolvency Regulation’s historic genesis, discuss the present European cross-border insolvency issues and will look forward to the future of an insolvency framework in the EU, including its evaluation process and suggestions for harmonisation.
